Ingredients: Elderberry, Cinnamon, Rose Hips, Cloves, and Ginger — everything you need for a rich, aromatic batch of homemade syrup.
Instructions: Bring 5 cups of water to a boil. Add the DIY Kit, stir, cover, and simmer for 1 hour. While it cooks, sterilize the 16 oz jar by rinsing it with boiling water or running it through a dishwasher sanitizing cycle. Let the syrup cool, then strain well through cheesecloth into the sterilized jar. When the liquid reaches about 100°F, add 1–1¼ cups of honey and mix thoroughly. Refrigerate and enjoy — stays fresh for up to 6 months.
